Chicago Condo Report

Below is what we’re seeing in the Chicago condo market when comparing numbers from the beginning of summer, to the beginning of fall. 

• 1% increase in homes for sale

• 7% decrease in condos under contract

• 1% decrease in sold prices.

The market is starting to cool slightly from the height of the pandemic. Good news for buyers is that interest rates are still at historic lows!

Chicago Single Family Homes Report

Below is what we’re seeing in the Chicago single family home market when comparing numbers from the beginning of summer, to the beginning of fall. 

• 24% increase in homes for sale.

• 17% decrease in homes under contract

• 4% decrease in sold prices.

NW Chicagoland Report 

Below is what we’re seeing in the NW Chicagoland market when comparing numbers from last year to this year to date. 

• 3% increase in homes on the market

• 4% decrease in homes under contract

• 2% increase in sold prices.

Low inventory continues to be a problem for buyers across our area. Uncertainty due to the pandemic and economy has caused home owners to put off selling their home. This amid low interest rates has led to a competitive market for buyers.
